Fahrenheit

Each car has a few pieces of diamond plate steel underneath it.  The sections mounted below the centerline of the cars are gripped by tires mounted within the loading platform's track.  These tires both propel the trains through the station and stop the train when they reach the appropriate loading and unloading position.  Separate plates installed below the right-hand up-stop wheels are used by a different set of tires as the train approaches the vertical lift hill.  The twin chains in the middle of the track block the plates mounted under the middle of the cars.

This unusual view from below also illustrates the importance of the "Zero Car" at the front of each of Fahrenheit's trains.  Because each car only has a set of wheels in the back, they must be attached to another car.  The small car in the lower right of this picture is the "Zero Car"... there are no seats in it!
