The Beast

The Beast was built and designed in-house by the Kings Island Maintenance and Construction Department, Charlie Dinn, Al Collins, and Jeff Gramke.  Much of the engineering was subcontracted to Curtis D. Summers Engineering.   Dinn and Summers worked together on about ten coasters until Curtis Summers died in 1992.

This is just a little of the lumber that is used to support the first lift hill.
