Poltergeist

Notice how much padding was around the rider's heads in 2001?  This ride was very rough and the restraints only made it worse.  Even with the bulky padding, my ears got banged up a lot as I rode this coaster.

In early 2002, Poltergeist's trains were modified.  Gone were the "over-the-shoulder" restraints shown in this picture.  Since 2002, just a lap bar is used to secure riders.
