Corkscrew
The company that built this ride got its start as the Arrow Development Company when it was founded as a small job machining shop in 1946.  Less than a decade later, they were asked to design and build a number of unique rides for the new Disneyland park.  Their transportation systems used on Pirates of the Caribbean, Small World, and the Haunted Mansion are still operating today.  In the 1960s and 1970s, they expanded into roller coasters and log flumes, and nearly 70 of their flumes are still at parks.  Arrow created numerous famous and record-breaking roller coasters in the 1980s and 1990s.

The company was successful in designing rides, but they have had a troubled business history.  The organization has been purchased, renamed, and bankrupt on multiple occasions.  It has been called Arrow Development, Arrow-Huss, Arrow, and Arrow Dynamics at various times in the past 50 years.  The company fell into bankruptcy again in 2001 and its assets were purchased by S&S Power.
