Twisted Colossus
The conversion of this wood coaster into a steel coaster was performed by Rocky Mountain Construction, and the new ride was designed by Alan Schilke.  As of 2016, RMC and Schilke have converted seven wood coasters by adding their patented I-Box metal track to existing roller coasters.  Besides Twisted Colossus, these six coasters have been switched by RMC to steel coasters with a hybrid wooden structure:

• Iron Rattler (2013) at Six Flags Fiesta Texas - Replaced Rattler (1992)
• Medusa Steel Coaster (2014) at Six Flags Mexico - Replaced Medusa (2000)
• Wicked Cyclone (2015) at Six Flags New England - Replaced Cyclone, formerly Riverside Cyclone (1983)
• Storm Chaser (2016) at Kentucky Kingdom - Replaced Twisted Twins, formerly Twisted Sisters (1998)
• Joker (2016) at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom - Replaced Roar (1999)
