Raptor

Roller coaster fatalities are extremely rare, but Raptor was once involved in a fatal incident.  However, as you will see, a coaster malfunction or design problem wasn't the cause of the death.   In 2015, a 45-year-old man was killed near this location.  The man lost his cell phone while riding the ride.  Afterward, he climbed a fence and entered the restricted area under the coaster.   He was struck and killed by a train as it sped by.

There are many lessons to be learned by this incident.  First of all, don't take loose objects on roller coasters, especially rides that are as intense as Raptor.  Also, trying to retrieve a lost object from around a ride while it is operating is a really bad idea.  And lastly, jumping a tall fence and entering an area marked "DANGER" and "DO NOT ENTER" is an extremely bad idea.
