Top Thrill Dragster

When Top Thrill Dragster opened in 2003, it was the world's tallest complete-circuit roller coaster, the world's tallest roller coaster, and the world's fastest roller coaster. It also had the world's longest drop on a roller coaster. As of 2021, it holds the title of the world's second-tallest coaster, the third-fastest coaster, and has the second-highest drop of any coaster. There are presently dozens of coasters with vertical drops, and the record vertical drop is set by a couple other coasters with a 121° angle, so Dragster's angle is not in the record books these days. However, it is impressive that Dragster has been either the tallest or the second tallest coaster for nearly two decades.
