Alton Towers has some amazing history. For example, Hex - The Legend of the Towers is a ride that sits in the historic Towers Ruins buildings. Guests first pass through the real armoury of the Towers then go through the Octagon room of the Towers before being led into the dark ride. Some of the Towers Ruins buildings were constructed in the 17th century, while most of the Towers buildings were erected in the early 1800s. This carved fence is probably between 100 and 200 years old!
