Corkscrew was one of eight permanently-installed "Corkscrew with Bayerncurve" models built by Vekoma between 1979 and the mid 1980s. Like this ride, most have been demolished, but four copies still are operating: Super Manège at La Ronde in Montreal, Canada; Corkscrew at Playland in British Columbia, Canada; Star Mountain at Beto Carrero World in Brazil; and Apocalypse at Lunapark in France.
