Downtown Tokyo has its own amusement park located adjacent to the Tokyo Dome, a large baseball stadium. The park was called Korakuen Amusement Park from 1958 to 2002, but later became known as LaQua Amusement Park (pronounced "La-CUE-ah"). These days, it is referred to as Tokyo Dome City, and it may be small but it contains many unique attractions. A 260-foot tall coaster named Thunder Dolphin from Intamin opened in 2003. Its track passes over a large office building and through the center of the world's first hubless, spokeless Ferris Wheel. The wheel was also built by Intamin. Six coasters have left the park:

Boomerang (1980-1984) was an Arrow shuttle loop. It might have been known by other names.
Geopanic (1992-2008) was an enclosed Togo. (See pictures below.)
Jet Coaster (1955-2000) was a small Togo coaster.
Linear Gale (1998-2010) was an Intamin Impulse Shuttle. (See pictures below.)
Spinning Coaster Maihime (2000-2011) was a Compact Spinning Coaster from Maurer Rides. It is presently enclosed and operates as Insider at Wiener Prater in Vienna, Austria. (See below.)
Ultra Twister (1985-1997) was a Togo heart-line coaster.
