Drachen Fire

Drachen Fire was built by Arrow Dynamics in 1992.  It originally had six inversions, but one inversion was removed after the 1994 season.  The ride closed in mid-1998.  No official reason for the closure was given, but some people believe roughness, maintenance problems, and poor park location were to blame.  

Drachen Fire was listed for sale ($4.5 million) for several years, but no one was willing to buy it.  It was demolished in January and February 2002.

Since the part of the park containing Drachen Fire had been closed to the public since 1998, this is the only picture I have of it.  Sorry!
