The Flying Coaster

When it opened in 2002, this was the first Zamperla "Volare" model coaster.  While none opened in 2003, three parks debuted a "Volare" in 2004 -- Playland in New York, Canada's Wonderland in Ontario, Canada, and Prater Park in Vienna, Austria.  The fifth version opened at Särkänniemi Amusement Park in Finland in 2005. (I visited Särkänniemi this summer, so check back for pictures of the Eurpoean model!)  A sixth copy opened in 2010 in North Korea.
