Dueling Dragons

As the trains leave the loading station, strain-gauges measure each train's weight.  As they climb up the lift hill, the speed of the chains is adjusted so that each train reaches the top in the correct position in relation to the other train.  This ensures that the trains will meet in three locations.  Here is the first:
