Hurler

This coaster used to be identical to Hurler at Carowinds, but it changed greatly when it reopened as Twisted Timbers in 2018.  Rocky Mountain Construction removed the original wood track and replaced it with their I-Box steel track.  The new coaster uses Hurler's original wood supports so it follows the same path over the ground, but its vertical profile has changed greatly.  And if that wasn't enough, the new ride has two inversions and an over-banked turn that hangs upside-down so long that many people consider it a third inversion.  I have been on five wood coasters that got the "RMC treatment" and were converted to steel coasters, and I absolutely loved riding each one!  I can't wait to ride Twisted Timbers for myself.
