Hypersonic XLC

S&S Sansei Technologies, formerly known as S&S Worldwide, S&S Sports and S&S Power Inc., is the maker of hundreds of great rides ranging from little "Frog Hopper" kiddie rides to 300-foot-tall towers like Power Tower. They opened Hypersonic XLC, their first coaster, in March 2001. It was 165 feet tall.

Like most of S&S's rides, Hypersonic used compressed air. The red and white tanks seen inside this massive hill held the large amounts of compressed air that were used to launch the trains.
