Hypersonic XLC

Hypersonic XLC used aircraft tires on its trains.  These produced a very smooth ride!  The tires on the plane I fly go from zero to about 150 miles per hour when I land, so I personally can attest that the tires are extremely sturdy.

In this section of the ride, the train stopped and was weighed for a few moments.  This determined how much air must be used to launch it.
