Racer

The train on the left is going forward, while the train on the right is facing backward.   Racer was the first racing roller coaster which allowed riders to face backward.  It has been reported that this was going to be a temporary stunt in order to appease guests who were upset by the rapid closing of the original Bat.  In the end, the backward configuration lasted 26 years!
