Rattler

In the middle of the Rattler's course, trains used to traverse nearly three complete circles at the top of the limestone cliffs.  In this 900° helix, there were some sections where trains passed over the same spot of land three times, and the track was stacked upon itself.

Park patrons couldn't see this view because this picture was taken from the top of the cliff outside the park's boundaries.
