Twisted Colossus
On a train's second time up the lift hill, it is pulled up the left, or the green, side.  The motor that drives the chain on the green track can be slowed down, which allows the train on the blue track to catch riders on the adjacent track.  It doesn't always work, though.  Sometimes, a train spends too much time in the station, so it can't catch up with the other train.  This is what is going on in this picture.  The orange train was slowed down and waited for the green train, but it couldn't loiter any longer and left the top of the lift hill as the other train was still climbing up.   But even when the trains are staggered on the course and aren't side-by-side, the ride is still incredibly fun!  Having a train to race against is just an added bonus.
