November 7 - As details are released about 2007 coasters, I am adding them to CoasterGallery.com. Look for news about Griffon, the world's first floorless diving coaster, Maverick at Cedar Point, Dollywood's Mystery Mine, Valleyfair's Renegade, and more. September 24 - I recently moved to Colorado, so the gallery updates are way behind. However, here are pictures from Belmont Park. July 1 - I added pictures of Cedar Point's new 2007 coaster this week. I am sorry I can't give any more details about what it will be yet, but keep checking back because I will add details as they are officially released. (More pictures of CP's other coasters will be released in the next two weeks, so keep your eyes open!) June 3 - The Disney's California Adventure pictures are up. Enjoy! May 24 - Be sure to read all of the details about Cedar Fair's $1.2 Billion purchase of the five Paramount Parks! May 6 - No new pictures today, but lots of news has been added throughout the website. My personal favorite item added today is Cedar Point's work on their 2007 'mystery' ride. Reports are coming in about Intamin track arriving at CP this week, so keep checking back as we add pictures and information. March 20 - Today we publish pictures of Disneyland. Come see and learn about the park that forever changed the amusement park industry! March 5 - We are unveiling pictures of the thrill ride Space Mountain with the lights on today. In addition, there are a ton of informational updates all over the Gallery. Here are some examples: Six Flags Magic Mountain is adding Tatsu. Kings Dominion is adding The Italian Job Turbo Coaster, but Flight Of Fear is permanently closed. Kings Island renamed Beastie the Fairly Odd Coaster and is removing the single-rail coaster called Scooby's Ghoster Coaster. January 22 - The theme park in the middle of the Mall of America is going through another name change, but this one is even more drastic than the first. What started out as Knott's Camp Snoopy became just Camp Snoopy a few years ago. However, the Mall's was unable to keep its Snoopy and PEANUTS license due a contract dispute with United Media. For now, the park is going by "The Park at MOA" until another theme can be established. The rides all remain open, but all traces of the cartoon characters are gone. January 1 - Happy New Year! Here are new pictures from Disney's Animal Kingdom. Expedition Everest is nearing completion after more than one year of construction work. |
