Mick Doohan's Motocoaster

46 rubber tires are used to propel the train up to 72 kilometers per hour (45 miles per hour) in just a few seconds.  Each tire is powered by a hydraulic system. Other Intamin coasters also use hydraulics, but the "Accelerator Coasters" such as Top Thrill Dragster, Kingda Ka, Storm Runner, and Xcelerator use hydraulic motors to pull a cable and launch sled along a section of track.
