Speedy Gonzalez

Speed Gonzalez is an example of the "Big Apple" and "Wacky Worm" kiddie coaster models.  About 200 of these have been built by several different companies under many different names.  This particular version was built by the Italian company Sartori Rides International.  Speedy Gonzalez is an example of a Sartori "Family Coaster," a ride that is designed to be portable.   In fact, the entire ride fits on one semi-truck trailer when disassembled.

Sartori Rides has mostly built small rides for children, but they did make one large roller coaster, Cobra at Tivoli Friheden in Denmark.
