This park started in 1984 as Cade's County. Named after the developer's son, it later changed to
Cade's County Wet'n'Wild. After an agreement with Six Flags in 1987, it was called simply Wet'n'Wild. It now is part of
Warner Village Theme Parks, a group formed by a joint venture between Time Warner and Village Roadshow Limited. The Warner Village Theme Parks
include a group of parks on the Gold Coast, Australia: Sea World,
Sea World Resort & Water Park, Paradise Country, Australian Outback Spectacular, and Wet'n'Wild Water World. Adjacent to this park is Warner
Bros. Movie World, also part of the Village parks.
