This company was started by Aurel Vaszin in 1919 as the Dayton Fun House Company. The name changed to National Amusement Devices
after World War II. The company was sold to Bull Roose and changed its name to
International Amusement Devices in 1973.
NAD made mostly children's coasters in the 1940s, but they also did a few larger coasters. Only a few of their rides are still operating today.
