Wild One

Here is a brief history of this ride:
It was rebuilt by Herbert Schmeck in 1932 after much of the ride was destroyed by fire.  Another fire destroyed parts of the ride, and it was rebuilt by John C. Allen in 1963.   It was redone without the helix finale in order to save money.  The coaster was moved to Maryland in 1986 where it was rebuilt and restored to its original configuration with the helix.  The coaster was partially rebuilt in 1992 and reprofiled in 1999.  It also received new trains in 1999.
