Cyclone

Cyclone is an extremely rough ride, and many coaster enthusiasts are quick to voice their dislike Cyclone, but Six Flags recently took steps to improve the ride.  In 2011, a section of the track was replaced with "Topper Track" from Rocky Mountain Construction.  This steel track replaces the top two layers of the seven-layer wood track as well as the steel plates bolted onto the wood.  The company claims that it will provide a smoother ride, lower maintenance and repair costs, and reduce the fatigue on the structure.  It has smoothed the ride considerably, but time will tell if it improves the other factors.
