Mr. Freeze Reverse Blast

This roller coaster was called Mr. Freeze from 1998 through 2011.  Trains were slightly modified then and placed on the track facing backwards.   The ride was renamed Mr. Freeze Reverse Blast in 2012 as riders now face backward as they are blasted out of the station.

Mr. Freeze uses Linear Induction Motors (LIM) to propel the cars up to 70 miles per hour.  These LIMs use electro-magnetic propulsion to accelerate the train right out of the station.
