River King Mine Train

This was the park's sole coaster when Six Flags Over Mid-America opened.  It remained the only one for five years.

When it opened in 1971, this Arrow coaster was actually two complete circuits.  The left one was sold to make room for Ninja. In the 1980s, it was moved to Dollywood where it operated as Thunder Express for ten years.  It is currently Big Bad John at Magic Springs & Crystal Falls in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
