Bizarro

This is one of my favorite views of Medusa, and it was one of the first roller coaster pictures I ever took.   In 1999, I had the chance to walk around the Medusa property when the ride was in operation.  Standing under the ride was a wonderful experience.  I was lucky to get this picture from this usually prohibited vantage point next to the Interlocking Corkscrews, the ride's last two inversions.

These days, the track is blue, the supports are purple, and the coaster is known as Bizarro.  A large silver "Auger of Doom" is now suspended in between these loops.  I suppose this massive drill bit has something to do with the "Medusa Mining Company" sign now on the loading platform.
