Bat

According to the park's website, when Bat opened 30 years ago, its advertising campaign featured Joe Flaherty from the Canadian SCTV series.  He appeared as a vampire on commercials promoting the new coaster.  I would love to see a video of these ads, but I have searched the Internet and I just can't find a copy.

The ride gets started when a cable pulls the single train backward up the tower on the left.  After the train is released, it passes through the three inversions and then climbs up the tower on the right.  The chain in the rightmost tower helps to pull the train a few car-lengths higher.  This gives the train enough energy to fall backward through the three inversions.
