Pipeline Express

Since this is the only roller coaster built by Ken Bailey that I have photographed, I'll take this opportunity to describe every coaster built by Bailey Rides:

  1. Pipeline Express (1986) at Putt N' Pond Speed Park in Fostoria, Ohio. It was the only version with PVC pipes for track. By 2001, it had been demlished. The park itself closed about 10 years later.
  2. Unnamed Coaster (1987) at Kid's World in Long Branch, New Jersey. Shortly before the coaster was due to open in June 1987, a fire destroyed the pier the park was located on. The park never reopened after the fire.
  3. Pipeline Express (1988) at Sauble Beach Amusements in Sauble Beach, Ontario, Canada. Located near the shore of Lake Huron, the park changed its name to Sauble Beach Fun World in 2009. The coaster was 700 feet long. It closed in 2008. The park closed in 2012
  4. Express (1989) at Windy Hill Watterboggan Park in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It was the only coaster at this park. The coaster is unique because it is the only Auto Sled where two cars were joined to make a train.  This allowed two passengers in the train. The ride closed about the same time the park closed in 1999.
  5. Pipeline Express (1989) at Wild Water & Wheels in Peterborough, Ontario Canada. This is the ride seen here.
  6. Pipeline Express (1992) at Boardwalk Fun Park in Grand Prairie, Texas. Just four months after opening the coaster, the park went out of business. The coaster sat dormant until 1998 when it and the rest of the park was demolished.
