This car is passing through one of the last block brake sections. On the right, between the two blue supports, you can see some of the green proximity sensors that determine when the car has left the block brakes. There are two small sensors in the middle of the track and one above the track.
There are a lot of black hoses slung beneath this section of track. These air hoses send pressure to release the brakes. The brakes are spring-loaded to the closed position, so a loss of air pressure, either intentionally or due to a failure or air leak, would cause the cars to come to a halt.
