Kawasemi

Kawasemi, or カワセミ in Japanese, translates to Kingfisher.  Kingfishers are a family of small to medium-sized birds that can be found all over the world.  There are over 100 species of kingfisher, most of which are brightly colored.  The birds often reside near bodies of water, so I guess this is an appropriate name for this coaster!  Most kingfisher species have long beaks and swoop down to the water to catch and eat fish.
