Kawasemi

Some sources state that Kawasemi's lift hill is 31 meters (102 feet) tall, while others report it as 33 meters (108 feet) tall.  It is speculation on my part, but I think this confusion may be due to the way the ride was constructed over the water.  The steel structure is 31 meters tall according to the ride's manufacturer, but nearly every support sits on concrete footers placed in the lake. (These concrete structures can be seen in other images.)  Because each of these supports is about 2 meters tall, the 33-meter height is measuring the height above ground level, or in this case, above water level.
