If you spend time in Japan, you will quickly learn that an X, either printed out or from a person crossing their arms, means "no" or "closed" as this is a common sign or gesture.  This cute sign warns riders to sit up with their back on the seat.  The soldier at the top says, "I want everyone to enjoy riding so I will tell you how to ride!"
