Apollo's Chariot

Apollo's Chariot has a little pre-drop before the 210-foot, 65° first drop.  The last rows of the train get massive amounts of negative-G forces as the train is pulled down the large drop.  I have read that this pre-drop is designed to reduce the stresses on the lift chain as the train accelerates downward.  The negative-G is a wonderful bonus!
