So why did the stand-up coaster fad end?  Was it the fact that tiny seats are large restrains are not comfortable?  Did the long loading and unloading times of the awkward stand-up seats dissuade park owners from ordering more?  Did newer coaster types such as flying coasters kill the trend?  Were stand-up coasters just too rough?  It was probably a combination of these factors that ended the stand-up boom of the 1990s.
