Phoenix

This coaster originally was built in 1947 as the Rocket at Playland Park in San Antonio.  Charles Dinn was hired in 1985 to move this coaster to Knoebels.  Phoenix was chosen as an appropriate name when it reopened.

Roller coaster relocated from Playland Park to Knoebels Park. The Rocket was reborn as Phoenix.
