Kingda Ka

This train is at the beginning of the launch section.  To its left, there are two parallel tracks where trains can be stored if they are not in use.

From its opening in 2005 until November 2010, Kingda Ka held the record for the World's Fastest Roller Coaster.  Here is a list of the World's Fastest Coasters as of 2019:

  1. 149 mph - Formula Rossa (2010) at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates
  2. 128 mph - Kingda Ka (2005) at Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey (seen here)
  3. 120 mph - Top Thrill Dragster (2003) at Cedar Point in Ohio
  4. 112 mph - Do-Dodonpa (2001 - modified and renamed in 2017) at Fuji-Q Highland in Japan
    112 mph - Red Force (2017) at Ferrari Land in Spain
  5. 100 mph - Superman: Escape from Krypton (1997 - modified and renamed in 2011) at Six Flags Magic Mountain in California
    100 mph - Tower of Terror II (1997 - modified and renamed in 2010) at Dreamworld in Australia
