Raptor

I still enjoy riding Raptor, and it remains one of my favorite inverted roller coasters. However, it suffers from long lines most mornings. It has a good hourly capacity, but its prominent placement on the Midway right by the park's entrance attracts a lot of riders in the first few hours after Cedar Point opens. This is such a pronounced occurrence that the term "Raptor Effect" has been used to describe the action of crowds that line up for the first coaster they encounter.
