Do-Dodonpa

This is the exit of the second tunnel.  In case trains didn't have enough speed to go over the hill and fell backward, there are brakes mounted in the track to slow it down.

I have been putting off telling about the changes Dodonpa underwent in 2016 and 2017, but I must tell a little about it here.  The single large hill was replaced by a massive vertical loop.  So to be precise, the brakes in the picture are now used if the train lacks speed to complete the loop.  Keep going through the pictures, and you will see lots of images of the new loop!
