Phoenix
Phoenix is a double out-and-back coaster. This picture was taken
from within the turn farthest away from the station. Both circuits
of track are above the location where I took the picture.
This coaster originally was built in 1947 as the Rocket at Playland
Park in San Antonio. Charles Dinn was hired in 1985 to move this
coaster to Knoebels. Phoenix was chosen as an appropriate name
when it reopened.
