Six years after work started on Flying Turns, the ride is still under construction. Initial delays were blamed on wheel issues. Later, the need for redesigning the trains was cited for further delays. In 2012, sections of the ride were removed and rebuilt. A new train, complete with water dummies to simulate the weight of riders, was testing on the ride in June 2013.
