Fahrenheit

I get a lot of emails from foreign countries who are trying to buy a roller coaster for their amusement park.  They usually ask what a coaster costs.  Since there are a wide variety of roller coaster types and sizes, there is no easy answer for that question.  A used, portable ride might go for a couple of thousand dollars, while a big, record-setting ride might top out at over 25 million dollars.  Fahrenheit, which is a one-of-a-kind design, cost approximately 12 million dollars when it opened in 2008.
