The train has incredible speed at the end of the ride! In fact, during its first season of operation, they had problems stopping it. Even with full brakes applied at the end of the ride, the train took so much room to decelerate that it passed the first set of brakes and only the second set in the station could stop it! This prevented the operation of more than one train on the ride at one time as the collision risk was too high.
Presently, this series of magnetic trim brakes installed on the last hill slows the train enough to allow a two-train operation.
