Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Four Big Thunder Mountain coasters have been built:  One started in 1979 at Disneyland in California, one opened in 1987 at Tokyo Disneyland in Japan, one debuted in 1992 at Disneyland Paris in France, and this one in Florida opened in 1980.  The rides are all very similar with a few differences in layouts.  The Florida version is a mirror image of the original one in California, and it covers about two and a half acres which is larger than the first one in California.  The Japanese Big Thunder Mountain has a layout similar to this one in Florida, but its ending and station are somewhat different.  The copy in France is the largest of the four and is located on an island in the Rivers of the Far West attraction.
