Texas Giant

The Texas Giant gets things started with a 143-foot tall lift hill.  This was the world's tallest wooden roller coaster when it opened in 1990. 

The ride is being redone for the park's 50th anniversary in 2011.  According to Mark Shapiro, CEO of Six Flags Inc., this project will be the largest ride renovation in Six Flags history.
