Texas Giant

The Texas Giant has been slightly modified since it opened in 1990.  The ride is going to be closed for the entire 2010 season as part of a $10 million rehab.  I would have been happier to see that money used for a new wooden coaster, but I am somebody somewhere is looking forward to see Texas Giant renovated.

This coaster was built by Dinn & Summers.  The next year they created Mean Streak, a ride that is similar to this one.
