Giant Dipper
Giant Dipper has had several names in its lifetime.  It started as the Giant Dipper in 1925.  It sat dormant in 1955 and 1956, but reopened in 1957 under the same name.  It was renamed Earthquake in 1976, but the ride closed six months later in December 1976.  It was once more Standing But Not Operating (SBNO) until August 1990 when it opened under the Giant Dipper moniker.
