Comet

Most of Comet's steel structure as well as this lattice-work station were taken from the Crystal Beach Cyclone.  That ride, which was built by the innovative Harry G. Traver, ran from 1926 to 1946 and is considered to be the most extreme roller coaster ever built.  It was so intense that a nurse was on duty in the coaster's station to attend to riders as they exited the ride!
